Day 4 [2.12.2009]

Bye Oak Valley~~~

After checked out from our hotel,we directly headed to Seoul,The Face Shop [Duty Free]

Beli2~~~~sold-only-in-korea products were being promoted.We bought some sets and lotions there.

we didn't have much time to snap pics coz there're a sea of people (crowded! >.<')

we stop at Itaewon for lunch @ Taj Palace Restaurant

STARVING~!!! =______='

We met a group of Malaysian Students there ,from UTM Skudai if I’m not mistaken].

After had a short chit chat with them, we headed to Masjid Itaewon which is located near by to perform zohor & asar prayer.

Walking up the hills (xde r hill sgt.kui3) + cool breeze~SubhanAllah..new experience for me to treasure.. (Apart from the one i experienced years ago at Cameron lah~haha)

Met a Muslim community there, most of the groceries stated as ‘HALAL’.and we do meet other Malaysian family who are on their vacation.

‘Living museum of folk history’ is the best word to describe Insadong, our next destination after we performed Solat.

We bought a lot of souvenirs from here coz I think the prices are reasonable and you have a lot of choices! different price range>

We only spent around 45mins there before we moved to Lotte world!

An amusement park! but we have tickets only for 3 major rides~hohohoho TT.TT

For those who enjoy Korean drama, here is where the shooting scene of Stairway to heaven took place!

After gone through a tiring and exhausting journey plus the excitement at the amusement park ..

we ZzzzZZZzzz as soon as we arrived at our hotel~

Day 5 [3.12.2009]

Early in the morning?! o.O

Guess where we did go? Hohoho

KBS world [CITA-CITA: nak terserempak with any actor/actress/singers/DJs…etc ]

HAJAT BESAR tu~hahaha

We do visit their studios as well as broadcasting department

n we won’t miss a chance to actually on air on that day!

Enjoyed dolsot bibimbap for our lunch at the nearby restaurant~

( 너무 맛있어요~>.<' * so delicious)

perhaps..bcoz i'm nearly starving at that time..kot..haha =____='

we happened to bump into a guy who look like lee jun ki! Siyesly..but it’s not him[ceh~~]

many Kdrama took place here [sweet spy,my girlfriend is gumiho,and…mostly ad kot o.O ]

Day 6 [4.12.2009] Free and Easy Day!

Early in the morning around 6.30am~ ‘escape’ for a short walk~[fuhh…pipi jd ais =.=’]

Most of the times that morning were spent by chit chatting with our club members+ transferring pics to lappy…

Approx. at 12 noon. walk out from the residence.

Now..as promised.we’re waiting for Jaty’s friend (halimi) at the subway station..

Oh wait..he brought along his friends! [Farid,Amir & Pije]

After enjoyed 'ikan bakar' for our dinner we headed to~

After spent around an hour there..

we had our supper at Lotteria [burger & ‘ringing phone order’ ] XD

say goodbye to our tour guide~ dashi mannaso ^^

p/s: but please don’t do it in Malaysia..semua kedai/shopping complex da tutup k~~~=.=’ ]

Day 7 [5.12.2009] LAST DAY~!!!! Huhhhh~~~>.<’

Ditemani oleh kak.Zatul Iffah [ my neighbour ] as our tour guide

Early in the morning at 6.30am out from hotel to meet her at the subway station

Doota! Shopping mall ( @Doosan tower-souvenir murah2 giler ..kat 5^th floor klu tak silap) then we took subway to

Namdaemun market ( ‘Syurga’ Brooch..kot )

and sempat rush p Myeongdong balik [ demi shopping..kami sanggup..hahaha]

at 11am check out from hotel~~suddenly…

FIRST SNOW at Korea[ for us la kan….hahaha..siyesly all of us OVEREXCITED at that time] that’s why I don’t have any gut to post our ‘overcited’ recorded video here…hahaha XD ]

On our way to Incheon Airport, we stopped by at some duty free shops to spend the remaining won in our wallet:

[ EXPENSIVE for students like us~~T.T ]

but most of us managed to buy some amethyst phone strip which cost 8000w each..

I bought one but I lost it at INTEC~ please someone find the clover phone strip for me

then we stopped by at

Ginseng Factory [duit nak abez sudah~balik tanam ginseng je r maheerah oi~~hahaha ]

tak pikir nak beli ginseng pn~o.0

Then we bought some Kimchi+seaweed+Radish kimchi+sweets etc~~

Airport sudah kate mari~Korea kate pergi…huhuhu TT.TT

Again..right before boarding..[time tu plak snow nak lebat sikit =.=’]

Semua lari p luar balik~

ad yang simpan salji tu dlm botol,amek gambar,nanges2, makan salji tu pn ad~hahaha [ok...just kidding.. xp ]

KOREA SPARKLING~!

Welcome home! Yup. 1 year has passed since my last post…=.=’

I’m thinking of updating my blog for many times (seriously!) but still… the free time that I spent doesn’t trigger me to do so...

n now...tadaa~!! here you go a post from me! (grin XD)

Last year on 28/11/2009-5/12/2009 I joined an academic tour and culture research program to South Korea that was organized by UITM Korean Language Club as part of the trips.

Been there for only 8days and 6nights do give me a lot of experience to share with you [ayat cliché’…ngeee~]

haa..pe ag…let’s check it out!

Day 1 [28-29.11.2009]

Safely landed at Incheon International Aiport,S.Korea after 8 hours flight with Korean Airlines approx.at 7a.m(korea).

There are 14 of us in a group waited for the tour guide as promised.then we took a ride on a bus to Seoul. [keluar airport~mak aih..sejuk semacam…naek bus semua tdow…zzzZZzzz]

Some of places that we visited right after we arrived are :-

Blue House ( President house )

we dropped by for 15mins to take some pics.(Sejuk.tangan menggeletar nk amek gambar+hujan..mmg daebak r! )*Daebak/ 대박 = Great!

then we headed to The National Folk Museum of Korea…listen to the tour guide about the HISTORY of the dynasty..Silla dynasty…invention of hangeul~~~errr.. [what do u expect? It’s a museum after all >.<’ ]

And just a walking distance from there,we visited Gyeongbokgong Palace [excited sgt with the palace..sampai xsedar pe tour guide tu ckp~=_______=’]

Mode: berangan jadi Maharani..hahaha

Right after that, we had our lunch at Taj Palace Restaurant,Itaewon [hohoho..akhirnya~nasi..nasi...>.<]

After enjoyed the moment of being a Korean for awhile, we moved to the next destination which is Myeongdong (You’re beautiful shooting scene)

Now,it's for our DINNER time at Evergreen Restaurant ( Itaewon) Pakistani cuisine

(most of our resort/hotel are korean traditional bedroom,so no beds are provided)

Day 2 ( 30.11.2009)

Tik Tok..Tik Tok~ MORNING!

We took a ferry to Nami Island!

Here is where Winter Sonata shooting scenes took place

Other than sightseeing, capturing pictures,daydreaming~hahaha..(berangan xsudah..xp)

Sadly, we didn’t get the chance to cycle there~huwwaaaa

We stopped at a near by restaurant(lupe nme) to have our lunch.

At the evening, we headed to the Teddy Bear Farm

Here is not one of the Princess hour shooting scenes. The shooting took place at Teddy Bear Museum at Jeju do

After that we straight to Daepohang Fish Market

We had our dinner at the harbour (pe ag..SEAFOOD! XD)

then we checked in to Damyeong Resort 대명리조트~NYTE! ^^

Day 3 [ 1.12.2009]

Morning! Let us go to Mt.Seoraksan National Park

( taking pictures/biggest patung budha in korea )

it is preferable to go there during spring time~coz we just enjoy the most beautiful no-flowers&leaves scenery at that time..hahaha

After that we took a ride for hours ( extremely long journey..zzzZZzzz)

but we do stop at one of the RnR for our lunch and perform solat.

berpeluang for snowboarding which cost us 50,000w per person TT.TT

cool~! Sekali pn xjatuh [ sile percaye please~~~~]

Snowboarding while listening to Kpop Songs that are being played at that time~waaa..cm dlm movie..hahaha xp (mode:berangan lagi)

Stayed for a night at Oak Valley ( Western style bedroom)

Sleep~sleep~

After spending my holidays for almost weeks without doing nothing at home except for dc+on9+tidOrr+makan+watching movies+mngarut+ kacau my lil sis+ tidorr ag~~ngee..

Finally…

My family n I went for 5 days-holiday on the past 2nd till 6th June at Kuching, Sarawak…accompanied by my relatives ( cik anas’s family + bik nine’s family and also my relatives who are sarawakians, bik nOr + bik om’s families)


jeez! a complicated+ long description aite? Haha..

Not my problem or yours too either way! =p

Now, back tO the topic k!


Day 1


We spent our exciting-experiencing-tiring vacation there started with checked in to the Pak Abas’s hOmestay located at Kg.Panglima Seman Lama as we arrived from KIA.

While, on the evening we continued our journey to the 1st selected destination which is Kg. BUdaya Sarawak! (Sarawak Cultural Village)

Puh-lease! Guess what? The entrance fee there cost us a boom! RM45 for children and

RM 60 for the adult..but luckily, I got discount because I brought along my expired-supposedly denied UiTM student ID! Thanks gOd! The workers didn’t check it thoroughly or else I’ll be summoned or ‘disumpit’ or maybe slaughtered( too cruel?! )

Everybody eagerly wanna try to walk on the ‘jambatan/titi ( nme sbnar yg x diketahui!). We also enjoyed the 45mins performance of the tarian traditional etnik by all the dancers there.

Right after that,we headed straight to Kg.santubOng and Kg.Buntal.
we just dropped by for minutes to take some pictures!

The end of that day,we had our dinner at a restaurant near by our homestay which called Barouk ( means ‘hut’/ pondok according to my aunt)

Day 2

We started our day by taking ride on Penambang (heading to Waterfront and Gambir Street).

Then, semua shopping sakan at Jalan Gambir!

Setelah kepenatan berjalan, we stopped for minutes and ate ice creams!

Day 3

Let's go to the Kg.Bunuk's Longhouse!!!

As soon as we arrived, we took the wrong way to the longhouse (ad ke my cousins ajak ikut jalan g kebun..aish..mmg r ssat..haha~!)

Right after that, we went to Jong’s Crocodile Farm but unfortunately we missed the ‘crocodile' show which started at 3pm..( melepas r plak~~)

Day 4



Meowwwww~

Then we shop ( again~!?) only for awhile at the India street

Odw home, we stopped for a minute+++..

For what?

Hoho…took some pics at the Tugu Kuching during the hot-boiling temp. (err~~)

At night, we bought some kek lapis from Qcakes…

Day 5 a.k.a Final Day

Only some of us went to the Pasar Serikin ( places for the ‘org2 tue’ to shop, according to my mom) on that morning. I followed too~ (was that means I’m also categorized as org2 tue???~~ )

URGH!
We took almost an hour++ to go there…
plus the worst traffic (>60 minutes !)







After a long , exhausted+ sun burned! + Extremely need air-cond situation, we went home approx. jam 2 petang.

That night, our flight was delayed for some reasons ( dunnO,dun care~!)
But we managed to arrive at the airport on time ( ye ke??? Haha!)





N it was the time to say Farewell Kuching~!
