haha...hye guyz!!! meet again...new assignment???? ;0

there's a lot of new terms that I gained from my class today...and here wanna to share with all of you...

for example...

i)computer-aided design (CAD)

it's cool!!! you should try it asap...

it acts as a versatile alternative for us to use more traditional modes of drawing.

we can design 2D & 3D model of physical objects...

it's not necessary but it's MUST *espcily for those who take engineering,architecture & scientific design...

ii)Personal information management (PIM)

the practice and the study of the activities people perform in order to acquire, organize, maintain, retrieve and use information items such as documents (paper-based and digital), web pages and email messages for everyday use to complete tasks (work-related and not) and fulfill a person’s various roles (as parent, employee, friend, member of community, etc.).

One ideal of PIM is that we always have the right information in the right place, in the right form, and of sufficient completeness and quality to meet our current need. Technologies and tools such as personal information managers help us spend less time with time-consuming and error-prone activities of PIM (such as looking for information). We then have more time to make creative, intelligent use of the information at hand in order to get things done or, simply, to enjoy the information itself.

Computer+me=LIFE???

Ermmm…hOw dOes cOmputer means to me??? Let me guess…1st time my dad bought a cOmputer for my family when I was 8. That time I thOught computer only fOr entertainment…music,playing games,of cOurse such as CS,MotoGP,Warcraft,solitare…etc...

nO cOmputer,nO life!!!

but day after day...i've been selected as one of the siswi in uni..so, maybe...nOw i becOme more matured and my perception about 'the usage' of cOmputer changed...

nOw, i realize how computer becomes so meaningful to me...to complete my assignments, chatting worldwide,typing, posting this blog!! not forget ...playing games to release pressures...perhaps..hehe..;p

oh yeah...i've an yahoo!mail/friendster/ym (islamic_gurlz1709@yahoo.com) so,if anyone out there wants to send email for me..or maybe help me to finish my assignments...you're welcOmed...hahaha...just jOking..stay cool and stay alive!!!;)

Today,in our computer literacy class...sir Izaham told us about advantages and disadvantages usage of computer...
the advantages of computer are...
1) speed
2) storage
3) Resources
4) Reliability
while, for disadvantages such as
1) violation of privacy,public safety
- while posting our photo to the internet via friendster,myspace...etc
2) Impact on labor force
3) health risks
- affect to our eyes if we use the computer for a long period
4) Impact on environment

we have been told about network and server...

what did you knOw about server?
..:: control access to resources on a network
..:: clients or workstations always request resources from the server.

The Butterfly

-The Butterfly-

A man found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could go no farther. Then the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily.
Something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened. In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and deformed wings. It was never able to fly. What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand, was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the small opening of the cocoon are God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into it wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved it freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through all our life without any obstacles, that would cripple. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Not only that, we could never fly.

Feeling happy,fine or...depressed??? thanks to God that i'm still alive today...and was given oppurtunity to post my blog...even for the first time...Alhamdulillah...really sorry for the teribble languange...i'm still learning to improve my english that's really in a bad shape...FORGET PERFECTION BUT AIM FOR IMPROVEMENT right??? =)
